Emmy had her first dentist appointment this morning! I was pleasantly surprised at how well it went. Did you know a three year-old should be flossing daily? Seriously... 

Sophie is enjoying her new role as "baby now old enough for food."  You can tell how happy she is to be eating at the table with the family! My girls are getting so big!

Today is March 5, 2010

A lazy Friday before our busy weekend. The big home remodel begins on Monday so the girls and I are headed out to Wisconsin while the dust flies at home! This weekend will be filled with plastic sheets being put up over doorways and furniture being taken down to the basement. My biggest concern is the dust. Any other suggestions?

Two updates in one week! Amazing!

A day to get things done. Emily is signed up for pre-school next year! She is beyond excited about this. Mommy is excited to have a bit of time to get things accomplished at home. We attempted children's choir yesterday - Emmy wiggled around like a puppy. Maybe we'll try again next year...

An update for the website! That seems to be my big accomplishment for the day, as it was a wonderfully lazy Saturday with the girls! The family has been enjoying a visit from Aunt Erin the past few weeks. Emily is over-joyed to have someone who will let her play make-up, eat frosting with a spoon, and generally allow her to do as she pleases. As Aunt Erin said, "Emily likes to do things at her own Emily-pace.. and in her own Emily-way." Very true. Sophie seems to like to do things in any way, as long as her thumb is within reach of her mouth. Apparently, we will battle that battle when the time comes, because Sophie is a very determined thumb-sucker for the time being. Looking forward to a visit with the family next weekend. We can't wait to see the boys again!

I am gearing up for spring by signing up for a few half-marathons. Wish me luck!
